PATRIOTIC GIFT PARCELS

BRITISH PEOPLE'S GRATITUDE WELLINGTON, July 4. Regarding the gift parcel question raised in Parliament yesterday. it was stated by the National Patriotic Fund Board to-day that the many letters of acknowledgment received indicated clearly that the surplus New Zealand patriotic food parcels for institutions in Britain al the end of the war had been widely "distri'buted, and the contents were in good condition. Gratitude was expressed in the letters towards the people of New Zealand for this further indication of their interest in the welfare of the people of Britain as shown by the gift of the parcels.
