w BUCKLEY CLUB'S ACTIVITIES [ A keen wind kept a number of : golfers off the links on Saturday i afternoon, when the Buckley Club | held a stableford competition. Roach 14, R. Birch 36. "Top Dogs" After holding the title of "Top Dogs" of the Buckley Club sincc thc opening of the season, Messrs. F. and V. Picard met their Waterloo during the week-end, when they met E. Wilson and R. Birch. After a vcry interesting game, in which some outstanding golf was played, I Wilson and Birch claimed the lion- • ours with one up.
