LONDON, -Tune 26. The Australiaris, Pails and G. Brown, won their second round singles matcheai at Wimbledon with the greatest of ease but the two other Australians, Hopman and Harper, were defeated. The Freneh Davis Cup player, Pellizza,* showed powerfuL driving whieh carried him throngh against Hopman, while the Dutehman Yan Bwol 's eannonball serviee was a deciding faetor in his win over Harper. While Van Bwol was eliminating Harper, the lat- j ter's compatriot Pails was returning the eompliinent with the Dutehman Wilkin, who was not good enoiigh to extend the Australian. Kramer and Segura had very comfortable wins. The best mateh of the day was between the towering Frenehman, Petra, and the Yugoslav, Pallada. This gaino was marked by aggressive, exciting and colourful play by both men, varving from feroeious aces to gentlest d.ropshots. Pallada saved six mateh points before going down.
