The hospital, with its aiixiliarj" cancer and eve sections and other clinics, will cover about 70 acres and will have 80U beds. The Government plans to deinoiisti the existing Sydney hospital in IVlae,Quarrie Street as part of the scheme to remodel that section of the -vity. The new hospital will be .abont HA miles from the citv and on land which reverted to the Orown in 1944.
