It was stated that under insurance law the wife of" a sharemilker was not covered by the ordinary employees' insurance, and farmers were also advised to take out a scparate accident policv~ to cover her if she was working about the farm. Thc letter was received. "That suppliers of all dairy factories contribute on a butterfat basis to the' funds of the dairy sectiori of Federated Farmers,". was oue of two remits forwarded by Tlie Levin branch. After discussion it was decided to refer Ihe femit to branches for their consideration. Tlie second remit, "that all margarine niaiiufactured in New Zealand be exported to Englancl," lapsed for want. of a seeonder.
