Early today County Council oflicials feared tliat tlie plant would not bo able to work throughout thc day but a train .which arrived just before r.oon saved the sitn ation. Other train loads are arriving and it is thought that the danger of a breakdown today has been avcrted. So far this week 750 tons have been saved by the restrictions in Sydney but stoppages in tlie mines largelv due to disputes, have been responsible for %a loss of 14,850 tons. Today five mines are idie for the loss of 2320 tons, this being a considerable improvement or yesterday's figure.
