WOMEN'S DIVISION

OHAU RRANCH'S MEETING The usual monthly meeting of the Ohau branch of the W.D.F.U*. was held in the Ohau Hall. Mrs. J. Kiisby presided over a good attendance. Mrs. Bennett, of Manakau, gave a most interesting talk on London before the war. Tea was served by Mesdames Guerin, Hudson, Hunter and McCartney. A large number of tinned goods was received from members for the purpose of makihg up paycels for saiiors who had been entertained in the district, through the Rev, Williarns Mission. These were to be packed and posted by the committee. A fine collection of thrift articles were on display, and Mrs. Burt won the competition held for these, Other cqmpetition winners were:— Best flower in my garden, Mrs. Wall; usual afternoon competition, Mrs. J. Griffith. Apologies were received from Mesdames Dittmer, Musso, Eagle, Nicholas and Candy,
