SUGGESTI0N OF AJDOITEONAL - FACELITIES Colleeting agencies were the subject of a specia.1 report to the Horowhenua Electric Power Board's. meeting yesterday by the manag-ing-secretary (Mr. R. A. Frederikson) . In it' he referred to. the request for an agency at Paraparaumu Beaeh. i"The question of establishing additiona-1. a'gents in the district "was raised by the request' frowHKhe Paraparaumu Beach Progressive Association for. an agency at Paraparaumu Beach," the report read. "This subject was covered hy a report to the board 'in March, 1945, wherein I stated that I was of the opinion that. the present facflities provided by the board- for the payment of accounts were reasonahle-, ,and; recommended that after ' the war considera'tion should be given to the possibility of sending an offlcer of the board to the' various localities for this purpose. Although the war has bee'n oyer- _ for some time, the staff is not back on a pr.ewtar basis. At a later date fl will be necessary to consider' the appointment of a third' meter reader, and that I feel, would be an opportune .tfme fo gi.ve consideration to this matter".": The report and recommendaT tfons were adopted by the board.
