COURT OF APPEAL ACQUITS FORMER POSTMASTER

WELLINGTON, June 24. The Court of Appeal to-day announced its decision in the case stated by the Supreme Court in Auckland arising from the trial at Auckland in February of Charles Clark, retired chief postmaster, of Auckland, on six counts of forgery of special oil fuel licences, when the jury found Clark guilty on all counts. The Court of Appeal quashed the conviction and acquitted Clark.
