AUCKLAND, June 20. Little improvement has yet been sliown in coal stocks held by the railways in Auckland province .althoug'h the Omana arrived today with 900 tons of Westport coal stnd unloading was stated by an official of the locomotive branch at the Auckland railway station t-hat normal snppiies coming from Waikato were sufficient only to keep stocks at. main stations at less than hnlf a day Is requirementfs. No relief in the shortage of domestic coal is seen by coal merchants who said_ they were still tvell behind in meeting orders.
