NAPIER, June 21. When three holds of the freighte: Samrich were found to be infested by rats, centipedes, beetles, frogi and other vermin, Health Departrhent ofidcers last night ordered unloading in the holds to cease. The Samrich arrived at Napier yesterday from Singapore, carrying 1000 tons of ballast sand she had had aboard for two years. The Visit of the health officers followed a eomplaint by watefsiders, whc refused to Work the holds until they had been fumigated. It \^as decided this morning to fumigate the holds with steam pressure.
