A student priest, Claud Hertweg, was beaten to death fer .the "crime" of carrying a rosary in his pocket, said a witness, giving evidence at the tria,l in Dachau against Joseph Hauser, one of fifty-two officials of the Dachau Camp charged with waf crimes. The witness added that . Hauser once iined up - 200 inmates and beat each in turn, because he"just felt like it."
