FLYING MIGRANTS REACH AUSTRALIA

Twenty-two days out of Bournemouth,' England, Australia 's" first fly- . ing migrants arrived at Sydney on Satiu'day afternoon in the converted Halifaxihomber "Waltzing Matilda" hought.from the R.A.F. by the pilot owner Captain Geoffrey Wilkner. His wife and two children were among the 19 passengers. Sixteen passengers paid £250 a head to fly in the bomher which is a veteran of 51 missions over enemy territory. The co-pilot, who flew the plane a third of the.trip, was Audrey Mor-ga-n who "said it was the first time she had flown anything with more than one engine.^ She fiew fighters for the "Air Transport Auxiliary.
