Received Monday, 10.40 a.m. LONDON,. June 16. The Netherlands steamer Meer- ; kerk (8000 tons), en . route from Rotterdam to Australia, struck a mine near Westkapelle, on the island of Walcheren. Of those aboard 100 persons, including seventeen passengers, were rescued. Fourteen of *the crew are missing.
