Rcotland Yard is investigating the tfmspeeled rnurder of a 40-year-old housidveeper, Mrs. TClizabeth AraeI inden, wlio was found shot. dead through tlie liead in a loeked room in a luMiriouslv I'urnished house at Chester Sipiare, Westminster, which slie had been preparing for use by the King of C.reec". She had ajiparently been dead about six days. Mrs. MaeLinden was found slumped in a chair fronting the telephone. She v.as fidly dressed. It was thought that she was trving to reach the phone when she was attaeked. No attempfc lutd Iteen made to steal anything from tlie house.
