CAR COLLIDES WITH TRAILER

An unusual accident occurred on the Village Settlement section of the Levin-Wellington main highway on Saturday. A car being driven northwards by Mr. L. Chait, of Christchurch, who had as passengers his wife and two ither women, came into collision with a car driven by Mr. G. D. Harns, of Levin, who was in the act of :urning. It cannoned off and colided with a trailer on a stationiry car at the roadside, owned by Mr. E. Tomlinson, 'of Levin. The car also struck Mr. Tomlinson, who was working at the trailer, causing a slight injury to his leg.
