WELLINGTON, June 17. The Governor Generai, Sir Bernard Frevberg and Lady Freyberg, whp. arrived by the Ruahine, which entered port on Saturday evening and berthed yesterday, came ashore this morning and were welcomed on landing by the Harbour Board, receiving ah illuminated address, and then proceeded to! the War Memorial, where General Freyberg deposited a wreath and paid tribute to the war dead.
