U.S. URGING ADMISSION OF 100,000 JEWS
TRYING TO SOLVE PROBLEM Received Saturday, 11 a.m. WASHINGTON, June 14. President Truinan, speaking at a PrQss Conference to-day, said the United Slatos was still nrging the admission of 100,000 refugee Jews into Palestine, and was trying to work out the problem with Britain. President Truman explained that his fepecial Cabinet committee was sending a delegation to England to tackle" the issues raised .in the proposed immigration, because it had no offieial word on the subject. President Truman deelined to discuss Mr. Bovin's reported statement that tlie proposal would be turned down. Answeriu" a suggestion that more refugee Jews should be admitted to the United Qtates, President Truman referred to the immigration laws, and said there, was 110 pia n for a ehange.
