LONDON, Jrnie 12. Prospective migrants to New Zealand are everyday callers at New Zealand House, in the Strand. Many mention the suhstantial sluns they are prepared to take to the Dominion. One recent caller, however, left everyone else far hehind and a memher of the staff stili hlinking. In a conversation that lasted ahout four minntes, the inquirer remarked that New Zealand was a nice country, that he would like to take his family of five there, and that he had "something more than a quarter of a million pounds. ' ' But he wondered what the New Zealand income tax and death duties were. A memher of the staff produced a card and showed him the rates. "I'd he as badly ,, off as I am here," replied the caller. "Good mor ning. ' ' With his "something more than a quarter of a niillion" he left ahruptly and was rapidly engulfed in the Strand.
