MURPHY TO FIGHT AT CHRISTCHURCH
Although no eontraet has been signed, the next appearance of New Zealand 's boxer of the hour, Bos kfurphv, will be in Christchurch in about three weeks time against Danny O'Keefe. For a purse of only £200 IHurphy has agreed to show his listic wares to the Christchurch publie, as his contribution towards rcscuing boxing in that centre from the doldrums. The Christchurch Amateur Boxing and Sports Club is in a bad way, and boxing in the Cathedral Oity is probably at a lower ebb tinui anywhere else in the Dominion.
