• MEETING OF COMMITTEE A meeting of the committee of the Levin Girl Guides Association was held in Mr. Todd's office on Monday. Mrs. G. Wilson presided over an attendance of fourteen.. A letter was received from Miss Joeelyn Brewster, tendering her resignation from the position of acting-lieutenant of . St. Mary's Guide Company. The committee expressed its regret at Miss Brev/ster's resignation, and also apprecia- ■>> tion df the work she had done in j the past. A letter from the Divisional Commissioner, Mrs. Mills, giving details of clothing sent to the Guide International Service team in Malaya, was i-ead. The thanks of the committee Were expressed to Mr. Palmer and his St. John Ambuiance heljfers for conducting a course of le.ctiires and demonstraMons to St. Mary's Guide Company, and to the First Levin Company. Reports were receivfed from the leadferS df the First Lfeviil Compdny, St. Mary's Church Company, and the Brownie Pack. The committee jflaced on recdrd its gratitude to Miss Hills for having consented to act' as captain of the St. Mafy's Church Company. A •
