As the Levin Racing Club is holding a meeting on the Otaki course in aid of the R.S.A. memorial hall appeal, it was felu by the club committee that memoers should be given the. opportunity of attending if they so desir-ed, and thus assist this wortfiy object. The medal round, which was to have been played in conjunction with the qualifying round, will be played for the benefit of those members who are not attending the race meeting. ' Inter-Club Match The Levin Club, is to play mem- - bers of the Oroua Downs Club at Levin 011 Sunday next in their second home match. To avoid any hold-ups, all players are, therefore, asked to arrange tneir matches accordingly. _ Club Notes The splcndid playing conditions of the local course were still in evidfiice over last week-end during play in the two-day men's tournament, and the ladies' singTe" day fixture 011 Monday. From a weather viewpoint, the men players were perhaps more fortunate in that they had perfect weather for neariy all their play, .rain^marring only the final two hours. Desplte heavy overnight rain, the weather was again beautif ully fine for the opening day of the ladies' tournament during the morning, but r showers and a keen wind made playing conditions somewhat troublesome during the afternoon.
