AUSTRALIAN RUGBY MOVES FORWARD
Received Tuesday, 7.35 p.m. SYDXEY, June 4. I Fiist steps towards Ihe formation of an Australian Rugby Union Advisorv Ucnincil, were taken last night by the New Smtlli Wales Rugb\ Union. The aim is to have a truly national body like the Xew Zealand and Houth Afi'iean Rugby Unions. Xew 8011th Wales is now the only Australian Union aftiliated with the Euglish Union. When the council is forined New 8outh Wales will have throe representatives, Queensland two, X'ictoria, Soutli Australia, Tasmania, Western Australia and the ('ommonwealth territory one each. llead([iiarters will be in Sydney.
