MR. WILLIAM HENRY MASON
The passing of Mr. William Henr'y Mason, which occurred at his residence, Stuckey Street, on Wednesday last will be regretted by many. Prior to takirig up his residence in Levin the deceased gentleman was farm manager for Mr. Guy Williams, of- Te Parae, Masterton. In 1936 he came to this district to take up a position as representative of Messrs. Levin and Co., Ltd. His work as their stock agent brought him into contact with most of the farmers and businessmeri of the district, with whom and by whom he was most popular and respected. He was a returned soldier of World \Var i, and a member of the Levin R.S.A., in which association he took a keen interest while his health permitted. The funeralj which was largely attended, took place on Friday, and among the many beautiful floral tributes received were emblems from the Levin R.S.A., Levin National Party, Levin Racing Club, Levin Bowling Club, Horowheri.ua A. and P. Association, Levin and Co., Ltd., and MZ. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd.
Much sympathy will be felt for his wife and family, consisting of four daug'hters and one son, who have been left to mourn their loss.
