BERNBOROUGH FAVOURITE

Acclaimed as even better than Phar Lap, the Australian champion, Bernborough, is an aceeptor for the Doomben Cup, of a little over 1-i- miles, to be run at Brisbane on Monday. He is favounte for this event. Opposed by a weak field, Bernborough looks a cerTainty, but it will all depend on how he races to-day. He is an all round horse and is capable of winning a sprint as well as a stayer s race, which proves that he is a really good horse. His main opponents will be Craigie, Tea Cake and Repshot but these have already been defeated by him. His weight of 10.1 will not trouble him, and he is a fine example of the saying that "weight will never stop a good horse."
