ENGLISH RUGBY LEAGUE TEAM COMING
AUCKLAND, May. 30. A short New Zealand tour will be made by the English Rugbv Leagme team w'hich is now in Australia. This announcemeut was made by the president of the New Zealand Rugbv League, Mr. Redwood, t.onight, Mr. Redwood said the English men would flv to Auckland on July 22 and remain in the Dominion for tliree weeks, leaving Auckland by air for Australia on August 12. Mr." Redwood said confirmation of these arrangements liad been received from the team authorities in Australia. If (lirect shipping aecommodation coiild be arranged -between New Zealand and Britain, the Englishmen would be prepared to make a longer stav in the Dominion and play additional matches. The following iti-nerary was approved : — July 27, South Island at Christchurch. •Tulv 29, West Coast at Greymouth. ' Julv 31, at Wellington (team to be decided). August 3, Auckland. August 7, .South Auckland at Huntly. August 10, New Zealand at Auckland. _
