CHRISTCHURCH, May 30. If the^R.S.A. and Homeservicemeri's Association could agree on proposals for the amalgamation of the National Patriotic Board Fund and the Canteen Board Fund, the Canterbury Provincial Patriotic Council would support the proposals, it was decided at a meeting i of the council yesterday. In the event of the ■ associations agreeing to the proposals, the council suggested that' the new boardhave its own secretaries, and that surplus income be distributcd on a pro rata basis to councils.
