AWAPUNI HORSES FOR ELLERSLIE
The Awapuni trainer L. Kuapp lel't for Ellerslie last night with Imperial and Eady Premier. The former has worked atractively during the last couple of vveeks and Jooks a better horse than on his previous tripi nortli. liis line performance in finishing fourth in Ihe Easler llaiidicup is not likely to lie forgotten, and suggests that he should pay his way over the Northern meeting. Lady Premier is opposed by a weak field in the Hunt Club Hurdles and after her form at Te Rapa, is entitled to be a firrn fancy. Both horses will liave the services of J. Williaiuson.
