EQUIPMENT FOR ATOMIC RESEARCH
NO SERIOUS DIFFICULTIES IN SUPPLY Received Thursday, 11.20 a.m. LONDON, May 27. The Minister of Supply, Mr. J. Wilmot, told the House of Commons that there was no serious difficulty in obtaining equipment for atomic research. He undertook to examine. any information to the contrary. When asked whether he knew that eminent scientists had said it was almost impossible to get equipment, which was scarce and exorbitantly priced, Mr. Wilmot said the matter was being discussed with the scientists;
