The produce oft'cred was of high quality and quicldy realised the pric.es asked, it being recognised that the Otaki growers produce notliliig butdlie best. It was a most successful day, and it is worthy to note that over 2000 cases of cauliflowers. were soon disposed of. A consignment of cauliflowers was also sent from Auckland, but Ihe quality was very much below that of the Otaki produce. In consequence the northern produce was iiot as keenly sought after, but sold at 2s 9d per bag.
