MONTHLY 'MEETING The usual monthly meeting oi the Women's Section of thei Shannon Returned Services' 5 Association was held in the • fire brigad'e meeting room on Saturday. evening. Mrs. C. Guerin presided ovei a large attendance. Unfortunately. owing to the small size of- the room', conditions were most unfavourahle for the meeting. It is hoped tnat a larger hall will be available for the next meeting. 1 During the evening 'fina'l arrangements were. made fof' the section's plain and fancy dress party for children of returned servicemen, which will be held on June 1. More new members were welcomed. Flower competitions were held and the results were: Mrs. Third 1, Mrs. Sinclair 2, Mrs. C. Johnson 3. After the meeting the women entertained the men members of the R.S.A. at supper at Laurvig's Hall. ' b
