The challengers! fought hard over the first nine ' holes, the Picard Bros. having thenarrow margin of one up at tneturn. However, they managed to turn on better golf on the second nine and retained the honour by four up and three t'o play. Next week the Picard Bros. will meet H. Norris and B. Harris. ' Around the Clubhouse Preparations are weii in hand for the tournament to be held over the King's Birthday week-end. The links are now in good order after the large amount of work spent during the past week. Judging by the enthusiasm shown, the club should., have ,a very successful tournament. j Entries for the Goldfinch and | Cousins' Cup are coming forward quite. ,well. Already there. are 23 names on the board and more are: expected. Next Saturday a bogey competi- i tion wfll be held and members are requested to be at the clubhouse early.
