Received .Monday, 7 TOKIO, Mny 19. The .Tapanese Government will not spend a single yen to help Tojo and his 27 compatriotsj to avoid tlie hangmau. A spokesman for dofence counsel said defendants were paying for their own defenee with monetary help from their legal staff. Eacli defendant had put up 10,000 yen and their lawyers 1000 yen each.
