Terrorist bands suppoi'ted by reactionaries froni abroad during April killed fii>52 jmrsoiis, niostly civilians, aceording to an o fticial statenient by the Polisli Priine Aliiiister, ATr. Radkie- , \yicz, says the Tiiues.' Prague correspondent. The corres]iondent says tlie statenient, which has just been received at Prague, gives some idea of the extent of the trouble with the Polish Ukrainian "white'' partisans. The Polisli frontier village of Lupkow which hitherto had escaped in tlie Jighting between Polisli (tovernnieiit forces and the Benderovci (Ukrainian ! irregulars), is iiow being set on lire. Polisli bands which crossed the C/.ech frontier are report ed to Tio inflicting j cas.ualties on tlie local ]i(i]iulatioii.
