At the Easter meeting held by the South Australian Trotting Glub at Wavville, tlie huge crowd invested a reeord amouiit on tlie douliles totalisator — £2128, made of 2s units. The aiuount invested on the Easter Cup linal on tlie tote — £3238 — was a reeord for any race at Wayville. Ineidentally the meeting was held on a Saturduy night on a traek thaf is only .150 yards round, and wide enough to accommodate seven sulkies only.
