' At a meeting of the Wanganui l>istrict Committee at Palmerston North today, Bernard Augustine O'Dea, oi Palmerston North, and" the horse Tintern, were disqualified for hve years as -from May 9, 1946, under Rule 103 (1) (B.) and (2) (D.) (VI.) of Rules of Racing. When evidence was produced, O'Dea admitted that during part of the period of his ownership, of Tintem, he had acted as a bookmaker.
