TALKS WITH PRESIDENT TRUMAN

In view'of the acute food shortage facing India, Unrra countries, the Western zones of Germany and parts of Southeast Asia, Mr. Morrison will go to Washington hy air in the next few days to discuss urgently with President Truman, further moans of meeting the situation. The state.nent from No. 10 Downing Street, in announcing this, adds that President Truman had indicated he would welcome the proposed mission.
