New South Wales Rugby Union officials say tliey will object to the New Zealand proposal tliat the visiting Australian teani should play1 its first match the day after it arrives in New Zealand. The New South Wales Union, 1 whieh makes decisions on belialf of Australia, is awaiting written confirmation of the cabled information proposing that the tour o)jen at Whangarei on August 21. A New Zealand teani will be invited to tour Australia early in the 1947 season.
