FURTHER CHARGES AGAINST THREE YOUNG MEN

Before Messrs A. J. Graham and R. B. Robertson, .Tustices of the Peace, in the Palmerston North Magistrate-'s Court On Saturday morning, the three young men who appeared on Friday inorning in connection with the theft of a safe containing £300, were charged with additional thefts. The eases were renianded until Thursday, when the original cliarge will also be lieard. Stanley -Edward Alexander Butler and John Alfred Riches were charged with breaking and entering a house in Shamrock Street and removing articles to the value of £66 12s 6d, including an engagement ring, wristlet watches, f ountain pens and a eamera. Butler was allowed bail with one "surety of £250. Riches did not apply for bail. The third man, Noel Maurice Gustin C'ox, was charged with the theft of ear parts valued at £80, and he was also allowed bail of. £250 with one surety of £250.
