Two men, Ivristian Kjeldsen, aged 52 married, labourer, of Raglan, and Don ald Jolin McGlashan, aged 19, single, (ishermau, of Raglan, left Raglan in tli.e launch Annie at 7 o'clock on Friday inorning to go fishing at a point ten miles beyond the Raglan bar. The men intended to return the same evening, but have not vet made an appearauce and fears are entertained for their safety. The Annie is 26 feet long. A liudson aircraft from Whenuapai was out all day today searching for the boa; while crews of niail planes passing back and fortli were asked to keep a lookout. Local fishermen have expressed the opinion that if engine trouble was met with, the launch might have drifted as far as 120 miles off the coast with the northeast wind blowing. Arrangements have been made for an extensive searcli tomorrow when two aircraft, a Hudson and Catalina, will coyer 100 square miles.
