MEETING OF COMMITTEE A meeting of the committee of the Otaki A.A. and C. Club was heldon Wednesday night the president, Mr. Fred Edwards, occupying the chair. The secretary (Mr. O. B. Nilsson) detailed the financial position of the club. It was stated that the credit balance in connection with the recent sports was small on account of the inclement weather. . It was decided to make a grant of £2 2s to the Otaki Brass Band for services rfendered, £1 ls to the St. John Ambulance and £1 ls to the secretary. The hope was voiced that the next sports meeting would be held on An'niversary Day, and- that it would be followed by a dance. Regret was expressed that the Whit. Macleod Memorial Cup had not been returned, but every eft'ort would be made to secure it. The niatter of road racing was considered, but it was agreed to take no action at the present time. .
