POWER BOARD ACCOUNT ANT RESIGNS
SERVICES EULOGISED After eight years service to the Horowhenua Electric Power Board, the latter part as accountant, Mr. G. H. Sorenson tendered. his resignation to this month's meeting of the board. Mr. Sorenson expressed his gratitude for the consideration shown him . throughout his association with the board-; ' 1 In congratulating Mr. Sorenson on his enterprise in setting up in private practice as an accountanr, the chairman (Mr. G. A. Monk) referred to the excellent service he had given the board, not only in thie capacity of accountant, but also in his first position as meter reader. Other members of the board paid tribute to Mr. Sorenson's work, ana it was decided to indicate appre'cia--tion of it by granting him one month's leave on full pay.
