Burglars' New Method
Using what is believed to be a new method in Auckland, burglars entered three houses in the Paritai Drive area of Orakei, Auckland, in the absence of the owners on holiday. With a brace-and-bit they bored holes through the woodwork of window frames, unfastened the latches and so gained easy entryApparently disappointed in their search for money or jewellery, they took little else.
