NEW PLYMOUTH, April 23. A. R. Ivitto (Wanganui) overwhelmed A. Glading (Hamilton) 12 up and 11 in the fmal of the North Islaud aniL.i,eur golf championship at the New Plymouth Club's course today. The game was played in a strong southerly wind but Kitto mastered the conditions and a great 36 home in the morning gave hini a eominandiiig-lead of nine up at the JSth hole. .In. the afternoon he played the first.seven holes in even fours to .finish the contest. Glading 's long game .was good jmt he failed time and agaiu on and around .the. greens.
