Stolen Poultry Some unauthorised person at the week-end visited a leading hostelry in Otaki and took from' the r ef rigerator five dressed fowls. The proprietor states that if t]ie thief will "again call he will be presented witn the feathers and perhaps a little tai to go with them. Otaki Athletes • A number of Otaki runners and cyclists took part in the sports held at Petone on Monday. There was a large attendance. In the 100 yards open handieap W. Hodges won in 10-1/5 secs. Miss Marjorie Webster was first in the 75 yards ladies' race, covering the distance in 11-3/5 secs. ; she was also first in the ladies' 100 yards, but was disqualified for crossing. In the cycling events Ted Mathie was successful in his heat and second in the final of the half-mile; the time was 1 min. 12-2/5 secs.
