• At last evening's meeting of the management committee of the Horowhenua Rugby Uniqn fhere \vere present: Messrs A. Gillespie (pfesident), R. R. RQbfnsph, T. Winiata, F. Carrington, E. Cook, N. D. Tilley, H. Wylie, H. Robson, N. Winiata, W. O. Neas and J- A. Zqp-' pibich (secretary). An apology for unavoidable absenpe W.ag fegeived frqm Mr. V. J. Bateman. Correspondence Wanderers Club wrote advising that it -was- now imppssifele for them to field a third grade team — Acpepted. Tokomaru Club forwarded a letter ' asking for acceptance into the pompetitions of a juniqr team apc. that their colours be red and black. The team was accepted with corigratulations, but it was thought that the colours might cla.sli with pther teams and this wus left for enquiry. The Manawatu Rugby Union wrote asking for a postpopement pf the meeting to discuss the pro= posai for the amalgamatiori of the" Horowhenua and Manawatu JJpions. This was agreed to, and May P was suggested as a suitable date to meet. Waimeha Club forwarded the names of their team and these were accepted.
