Campbell regarding the formation of a branch of the Red Cross in Shannon. A discussion was held on the arrangements for the Anzac Day dinner, at which a record number of returned personnel is expected. It was decided to' extend an invitation to the "J" Force boys, who are home on final leave, to attend the function. The president thanked the members who had given generous donations of cash towards the cost of the dinner. Competition winners for the month were: — Best bloom: Mrs. Veale; lapel Posy: Mrs. Sinclair; felt bag: Mrs. Fitzgerald.
