Easter visitors to Shannon included Mr. Trevor King and Mr. M. Peach, who are spending the holidays with their respectiVe parents. A number of local fishing enthusiasts spent Good Friday at Kapiti. It is understood that a good days fishing resulted. Mr. and Mrs. Keith McLaughlan,. of Lower Hutt, were visitors to Shannon over the holidays. Shannon friends will remember Mr. McLaughlan when he was employed by Mr. Graham Tippler some years ago.
