MEETING AT KOPUTAROA

The mohthly meeting of the Koputaroa Women's Institute was held recently in the Koputaroa Hall, Mrs. Koberstein presiding over a good attendance of members and visitors. Apologies were rfeeeived from Mesdames Hogan, Bird, Kilsby and Gatchell.. It was decided to send Mesdames Brown and Str'atton as deiegates to the Federation meeting at Long- . burn on April 30. A suggestion that a good service badge be presented to Mrs. Brown for her fine work ds president met with the approvai of all members. • • • : A Competition held during the afternoon was won by Miss Fitzgerald. The winners of the monthly competitions were: — Mrs. Netten 1, Mrs. Sanson 2, Miss C. Koberstein 3. Juniors: Joyce McLaughlin 1, Yvonne Schultz 2, Joan McLaugmin 3. Flower: Mrs. Baker. Shrub: Mrs. Sanson. Juniors: Audrey Storey. Afternoon tea was served and prOceedings closed with the singing Pf the National Anthehi.
