BUMPER WHEAT ACREAGE IN N.S.W.
8YDXEY, April 16. A survev of wheat prospects in X etv S'outh Wales con/irms earlier expfectations that the target hrea for the season of 5,200,000 acres, may be exceednd. A eonservative estimate gives the yielti for the State alone as 70,000,000 busliels, enough to lill Austraiia's total requirements. Much Wheat is still stored iii silos awaiting transport to the hehboard. The difficulty is stiil one of shipping to take the wheat supplies to countries tlireatened with starvation.
